La Disposición 2802/2023 de la Dirección Nacional de Migraciones permite solicitar una visa temporaria a las y los extranjeros que soliciten ingresar a la Argentina con el objeto de realizar estudios formales (secundario, terciario, universitario o posgrado) en establecimientos educativos públicos o privados reconocidos oficialmente (art. 7°).

Podrá otorgarse plazo máximo de permanencia de dos (2) años.

 

Cómo aplicar:

El trámite de solicitud de visa es personal y debe hacerlo ante el Consulado argentino que corresponda a su lugar de residencia habitual.

Por favor envíe copia escaneada de la siguiente documentación vía correo electrónico a consulado_ealem@mrecic.gov.ar, al menos cuarenta y cinco (45) días antes de la fecha prevista para el viaje y no más de noventa (90) días antes:

 

Requisitos:

A) Formulario de Solicitud de Visa FSV (disponible para descargar al final de página). Complete todos los campos -preferentemente en forma electrónica- excepto los N° 50 y 51;

B) Copia escaneada de su Pasaporte, incluyendo todas las páginas intervenidas (con sellos o visas). El pasaporte debe tener una vigencia mínima de seis (6) meses a la fecha de ingreso a la Argentina, y al menos una hoja (dos carillas) en blanco disponible;

C) Comprobante de domicilio (Meldebescheinigung);

D) Dos (2) fotografías actuales 4x4cm, de frente, a color, fondo blanco (para traer el día de la entrevista);

E) Precarga electrónica de datos por parte de la institución educativa llamante en Argentina. Debe figurar apellido, nombre, nacionalidad, pasaporte, fecha de nacimiento, domicilio, curso y fecha de inicio;

F) Número de inscripción en RENURE de la institución educativa argentina;

G) Programa de Estudios;

H) Reserva de pasajes de ida y vuelta a su nombre (se recomienda no adquirir los pasajes hasta tanto la visa no haya sido otorgada);

I) Acreditación de medios económicos suficientes para subsistencia y alojamiento en el país;

J) Seguro médico por el plazo de estadía en Argentina;

K) Si el solicitante es menor de 18 años, se requiere presentar:

• Partida de nacimiento del solicitante de la visa con Apostilla de La Haya y traducido al español. El original será conservado en la Sección Consular;
• Documentos de identidad / Pasaportes válidos de ambos progenitores;
• Venia de viaje firmada por ambos padres para tramitar la visa y designación de quien será responsable por el menor durante su estadía en Argentina (firmada ante el Cónsul o por notario público, apostillada y traducida al español);

L) Si el solicitante es mayor de 16 años:

• Original de Certificado de antecedentes penales emitido por el o los países donde hubiera residido por un plazo superior a UN (1) año, durante el transcurso de los últimos TRES (3) AÑOS, con Apostilla de La Haya y traducción al español (con un plazo máximo de validez de 90 días a la fecha prevista de viaje);
• Declaración jurada de ausencia de antecedentes penales en otros países, firmada ante el Cónsul;

M) Entrevista consular (obligatoria, sin excepciones): Todos los solicitantes de visa deben presentarse en persona para una entrevista consular. Los menores tienen que estar acompañados por ambos progenitores. Si la solicitud está incompleta, no se le dará cita para la entrevista. El día de la cita el solicitante deberá presentar la documentación requerida en original. Si la documentación está incompleta no se iniciará el trámite y deberá solicitar una nueva cita, la cual quedará sujeta a disponibilidad.

La enumeración precedente no es taxativa. La autoridad consular podrá solicitarle la presentación de información adicional.

El sólo cumplimiento de los requisitos antes mencionados no garantiza el otorgamiento de la visa, siendo esta una prerrogativa exclusiva del Estado argentino

Aranceles:

Arancel consular: EUR 250.-

Tasa migratoria: EUR 300.- para ciudadanos MERCOSUR y EUR 600.- para ciudadanos EXTRA-MERCOSUR.

Temporary Student Visa

The Directive 2802/2023 from the National Immigration Directorate allows foreigners to apply for a temporary visa, for a period of up to two (2) years of stay in Argentina, to enter the country to carry out formal studies (article 7).

 

How to apply:

The visa application process is personal, and it may be submitted at the Argentine Consular Office in the place of residence.

To apply, please send scanned copies of the following documents via email to consulado_ealem@mrecic.gov.ar, at least forty-five (45) days before your intended journey and no earlier than ninety (90) days beforehand:

 

Requirements:

A) Visa application form FSV (available to download it at the bottom of this page). Complete all fields –electronically, if possible- except for numbers 50 and 51;

B) Scanned copy of your passport, including all pages with stamps or visas. The passport must have a minimum validity of six (6) months from the date of entry into Argentina, and at least one blank page (two sides) available;

C) Copy of Meldebescheinigung (proof of place of residence);

D) Two (2) current photos, 4x4cm, full front view, in color, on a white background (to be brought on the day of the interview);

E) Proof of “Electronic data preloading” by the calling educational institution in Argentina. It should include last name, first name, nationality, passport number, date of birth, address, course, and start date;

F) Registration number in RENURE of the Argentine educational institution;

G) Syllabus;

H) Round trip ticket reservation under applicant´s name (It is recommended that you DO NOT purchase non-refundable airline tickets to Argentina before the visa is granted);

I) Proof of sufficient financial means to cover living expenses and accommodation in the country;

J) Medical insurance for the stay in Argentina;

K) If the applicant is under 18 years old, the following is required:

• Applicant´s birth certificate legalized by The Hague Apostille and with a Spanish translation. The original will be retained by the Consular Section;
• Valid IDs / Passports of both parents;
• A travel authorization signed by both parents to process the visa and a designation of the person who will be responsible for the minor during their stay in Argentina (signed before the Consul or by notary public, legalized by The Hague Apostille and translated into Spanish);

L) If the applicant is over 16 years old:

• Original criminal record certificate issued by the country or countries where you have resided for a period of more than ONE (1) year during the past THREE (3) YEARS, legalized by The Hague Apostille and translated into Spanish (The certificate must not be older than ninety days at the time of the planned trip);
• An affidavit stating that the applicant has no criminal record in other countries, signed before the Consul;

M) Visa interview (mandatory, with no exceptions): All visa applicants are requested to appear in person for a consular interview. Minors must be accompanied by both parents. If the visa application is incomplete, you will not be given an appointment for the interview. On the day of the visa interview, the applicant must present the required documents in their original form. If the documents are incomplete, the applicant will need to request a new appointment, which will be subject to availability.

The Consular authority could require the applicant to submit extra documentation, if needed.

The fulfillment of the requirements above-mentioned does not guarantee the granting of the visa, being an exclusive prerogative of the Argentine state.

Consular fee: EUR 250.-

Migration fee: EUR 300.- for MERCOSUR citizens and EUR 600.- for non-MERCOSUR citizens.
